You should have received confirmation off your meeting time via email, with instructions to reschedule if needed. (*If you prefer to communicate via email instead, we can do that.)

The purpose of the initial meeting is to gather information about the scope of your project, and determine what services we can provide to tell your science story. Please be prepared with any materials that might be useful to us.

03

After the meeting, we will send you a proposal including cost, estimated schedule, and number of allowable revisions. Then the fun begins!

About SayoStudio

 

SayoStudio was founded with the mission to create the best science visuals that draw people in to share the excitement and wonder of science with the world.

Our team is built of designers, illustrators, animators and writers who don’t just get science, but who love science. Most of us started out in the lab, but discovered that our passion is developing our artistic, communication skills to showcase other’s discoveries.

In the foreseeable future, brain computer interface technology will help advance human's abilities. In this example, a woman enjoys running at speeds far beyond the normal range with the help of an exoskeleton controlled by her own thoughts. Some of the applications for these advances will be used industry, daily life, and empowering the disabled. This illustration was created for the National Science Foundation to highlight this current research.
Astrophysicist Dr. Andrea Ghez's Nobel prize winning research followed a star to the edge of the black hole at the center of our galaxy.

Here Are Some Questions people ask while waiting to get started

How long does it take?

Project times vary, but the minimum time for most projects is 4-6 weeks, with animations starting at 2-3 months. We often book ahead of time, however we do reserve a few rush spots for work needed under 3 weeks. 

How much does it cost?

Creating custom visuals and design ranges from a few hundred dollars for information design, to $20,000 and up for cinematic 3d animation.

Who will work on the project?

All projects are guided and overseen by Creative Director Nicolle Fuller, with a team of science and medical illustrators, animators and designers working on the creative process.
